Manipur Development Society (MDS) is one of the autonomous Society under the aegis of the State Government that has performed well in bringing about development of the State. One of the objectives of MDS is to create critical infrastructure and assets which have been instrumental in advancing the growth of the State economy. Programmes for skill development that it implemented has also enriched the human resource capital. MDS has contributed in promotion of tourism, health and sports sectors in the State.
I am happy to learn that MDS is bringing out a Coffee Table Book to commemorate its achievements and showcase its works over the last many years of its existence. MDS is striving to live-up to the public expectations by renewing its efforts at restructuring and re-engineering of its work culture and ethos for accelerated outputs.
I am hopeful that the streamlining steps being taken by MDS will bear fruits. This Coffee Table Book will be a launching pad for more successes by MDS in the days to come.
