MULTIPURPOSE AUDITORIUM CUM CINEMA HALL FOR MFDC LTD AT PALACE GATE.
Manipur is famous for its Arts and Culture with Manipur film industry occupying a pride of place. A number of films have also been produced and some of them have bagged prestigious National and International awards. However, due to lack of proper facilities for organizingfilm festivals, workshops, training programme and related activities, film producers, directors, technicians, writers, and people working in filmIndustry face many obstacles. In recognition of this genuine need, the State Government decided to construct a Multipurpose Auditoriumcum Cinema Hall in the State which has now been renamed as the Manipur Film Development Complex (MFDC). The auditorium is now animportant venue buzzing with film festivals, seminars, workshops and cultural activities film activities.
